Resin Flooring

Resin flooring involves applying a base of resinous material to concrete, creating a smooth, non-porous flooring surface. Resin flooring is typically cast or poured in place then is cured, allowing it to set completely. These flooring systems can be decorative and are very chemical resistive.

Resinous Floors and Walls can be used and are specified in many applications.  The seamless waterproof characteristics of resinous floors make them ideal for kitchens, restrooms and garages.  Resinous systems are often used for “secondary containment”, using Novolac and other chemically resistant coatings to protect against chemical spills.

Resinous systems can be decorative, consisting of multi-colored aggregate blends of silica quartz and vinyl flake.  Designs and logos are other decorative elements that can be applied using epoxy.

No Need to Fear Moisture Issues!
The fear of adhesion failure is the primary concern for anyone whom is not properly educated in epoxy application. Unfortunately, many of us are all too often turned away and afraid of what can happen to an epoxy floor that has been improperly prepared. By using only the best methods of preparation, we at Pro Concrete Design have made sure that we have the ability to prepare any floor, no matter what the condition. Once a floor has been prepared properly, our professionals will install our industrial line of epoxies and urethanes that are guaranteed to adhere to the surface creating a beautiful floor that will last for years.

Quartz  Floors

The main benefit of quartz floors is slip resistance. Silica quartz is a “fine” aggregate and when broadcast or troweled into the epoxy; creates beautiful floors which can be designed from coarse to smooth texture.  Quartz floors are great in any area where water or other liquids may be introduced to the floor.  These floors can be decorative or solid color.  Decorative Quartz floors utilize different color blend of silica sand, these floors are common in restrooms and showers.  Solid Color Quartz floors are used in industrial and commercial applications, the quartz is primarily for traction and thermal shock mitigation.

Decorative Flake Floors

Utilizes large vinyl flakes to create decorative blends, flakes range from 1/16” to 1/4”.

Metallic Epoxy Floors

Metallic epoxy is a special multi-layered epoxy floor coating system that incorporates the use of a metallic additive mixed into a clear epoxy coating to create exotic effects. This metallic powder continues to move through the epoxy as it cures creating the lava flow or pearlescent design.

Urethane Floors

Utilize cementitious urethane to create a high impact, thermal shock and moisture mitigating floor.  Urethane floors are typically 3/16” to 1/4 “, and can be designed for decorative flake and decorative quartz aggregate blends.
